September 11th, 2001 is a day our nation will never forget. In order to remember those who were lost on that day, some of our brothers decided to participate in an important event. The University of Kentucky decided to host an event called the 9/11 stair climb in which participants would have to climb the stairs of Kroger Field. Brother Andrew Donovan encouraged several members in our fraternity in taking on the stair climb. Along with Andrew, brothers Joe Kirchner, Logan Desai, Ian Fainberg, Nick Meyer, Kenny Fehr, Cameron Goss, Nathan Roshelli, and Alan Carr decided to participate. In total, the participants climbed 110 flights of 1,980 stairs in order to honor those who heroically sacrificed their lives during the rescue efforts, along with all our brothers and many others who passed away on that tragic day.
